freelance computer guy

Sometimes people need a little bit of computer help. If you take a look around, you may find that there are plenty of people that offer their services for a hefty price. Perhaps all you need is a little bit of troubleshooting to find out whether it's your hard drive or your RAM giving you trouble. Maybe you need a simple website with a couple of pages or a little bit of help editing a document. Maybe you want to make an instructional video and need some editing done. Perhaps you want some good intro music to go with your weekly podcast. I can help you with all of those.

If you click on the triangles on the left and right side of each page you can navigate to more information on each subject. You can take a look at my credentials or past work to see if I've got what you're looking for. If you like what you see and want to start talking business, or if you still have questions or concerns, feel free to contact me by using the form on the contact page to send me an email or the Google Voice widget to phone me directly.

You can find more of my technical skills on my resume.

i'm a full time student with two jobs

Hmm. That could be a concern, right? Well, I am very busy, but most of the things I've listed don't take very long. I always set aside time on the weekends to work on extra projects. I sometimes make websites for myself just to hone my skills. I figure that I might as well put that time to even better use by taking small jobs on the side.

what i'll do with the money

I'm a college student. Almost all of the money I make at my two "day jobs" goes to my school bill. I have my eye on a new keyboard (the piano sort) that would take years to acquire with my budget. If I take some side jobs, I can shorten that time. After that, I may start looking at digital SLR cameras and lenses.

If any of my free examples or advice have been especially helpful to you and you'd like to contribute something as a thank you, there is a way you can do that. I am a member of I Cantori, a chamber choir at Southern Adventist University. Every three years the choir goes on an international tour. I had the privilege, with many thanks to some very kind donors, of going to Brasil in 2009. Our next big trip is in 2012, and I've already begun putting aside money from every paycheck. The price of the trip last time was $1500, and I expect that's about what the next trip will cost. I will be able to cover about half of that. If you would like to help me out with the rest, send me an email and I can send you more information on how to donate. Thank you so much for your generosity.

all about me (a.k.a. narcissistic ramblings)

Curtis

I'm Curtis Prevo, a student at Southern Adventist University. I love music, sports (playing them, mostly), and computers. In fact, I'm a computer major, music minor. I sing in the choir, play some mean volleyball, and can count to 1023 in binary on my fingers. I'm a super-nerd that can dunk. I was born in beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada, and I've lived there half of my life. I have lived the other half in Missouri and in Tennessee, where school is. I really enjoy Chinese and Latin American foods and a delicious Coffee Crisp chocolate bar (unfortunately not available in most of the United States) every now and again.
